Sunderland’s Tempting Offers

Published in:

Sunderland has celebrated its arrival as support sponsor to the SkyCaddie PGA Fourball Championship with a number of incentives for pros entering the event.

The famous golf wear manufacturer is offering special rates and discounted products in addition to supplying prizes to the winners and finalists.

"All pros that enter this year's Fourball Championship will get preferential rates on our products," said Brian Mair, Sunderland's sales and marketing director.

"At the events themselves pros will have the opportunity to place orders at a discounted rate. We want to recognise the pros as our customers as well as players."

"We are truly delighted to expand our support of the PGA, this is a great opportunity for us to really show how much the PGA professional means to us," added Mair.

"It's a very exciting time here at Sunderland, we've just re-launched and things are going very well.

"Our continued partnership with the PGA as well as continuing to supply the Ryder Cup team has added to the great things happening at the moment."

This year's 54-hole championship will again be staged at Yorkshire's Fulford Golf Club in October, the scene of Matt Morris' and Adrian Carey's victory last year.

PGA chief executive Sandy Jones said: "We've enjoyed a long and happy relationship with Sunderland and are delighted to welcome them as support sponsors to one of our most popular events."
