Peter Cherry of Ashridge ended as top professional in the Ron King Trophy Pro-Am at Aldwickbury Park.
His level par round of 71 beat Mark Day (Whipsnade Park) and Bobby Mitchell (South Herts) into joint second place by one shot. Stephen Harris (Harpenden) and Jack Wood (Mid Herts) shared fourth place with 73.
Joel Saunders led the Verulam team of Mark Barnard and Gary Jordan to victory in the team event with 81 points. Cherry, David Woolmer and Chris Hewitt of Ashridge were runners-up. Mitchell, Terry Bannister and Stuart Garling of South Herts took third place.
