Andrew Collison landed the second Suffolk PGA pro-only medal of the year at Thorpeness - his second of the season after victory at Aldeburgh last month.
The Bungay and Waveney Valley professional carded a level par round of 69, including four birdies, after being two over at the turn.
It was his first outing with a new driver, which saw him need two penalty drops from gorse in his first nine.
Runner-up at three over par was Chris Smith, a first year assistant at Fynn Valley. Robin Mann (Felixstowe Golf Range), who has appeared on the PGA European Senior Tour in recent years, was third with a round of 73.
