Q-school revs up with special bonus

The winner of PGA Europro qualifying school is guaranteed to hit the fast lane this year after Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire agreed to become the Tour's official car supplier.

As part of the deal the leading finisher at Frilford Heath on April 9 will get the use of a brand new Mercedes-Benz car for six months.

Players on the Tour will benefit from the partnership with exclusive deals on cars available to members, while Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire's involvement in the world's leading developmental Tour re-affirms their commitment to grass-roots golf.

"Following the success of the Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire Golf Challenge since its inception four years ago, we're delighted to increase our association with a sport that is the main interest of many Mercedes-Benz owners," said Mark Whitworth, group marketing manager of Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire.

"We look forward to working in partnership with Matchroom Sport to support the PGA Europro Tour and its players, many of whom we hope will become the future stars of the game.

"By calling upon our expertise, first class service and affordable offers, we are confident that we can improve their 'driving' and put them on the road to success in a Mercedes-Benz.

"We are thrilled that Mercedes-Benz Hertfordshire are part of our line-up of official partners for the Tour in 2010," said Sam Pigott, commercial manager of the PGA Europro Tour.

"The deal not only shows the high regard in which the Tour is held amongst the business sector but will also benefit our members which is something we always strive to do."

The deadline for entries to the Qualifying School is Wednesday March 17 - apply online at www.europrotour.com.
