Expert Tournament Administration
PGA tournament directors bring a wealth of experience to your day with their expertise in administering more than 900 PGA events annually at both national and regional level. Their experience also includes refereeing at major world golf championships including the Ryder Cup, The Open Championship, US Open, USPGA and US Masters.
Championship Golf Courses
The PGA has forged strong links and enjoys unique access to many of the UK's best golf courses including Turnberry, Gleneagles, The Belfry, Walton Heath, The Grove, Prince's, Ganton, Hanbury Manor, Hillside, Woodhall Spa, Royal Portrush, Royal Porthcawl and many more.
PGA Professionals
The Association can draw upon the skill and expertise of its members to play in corporate events and to provide mini golf clinics to help your clients derive the most from their day.
PGA Instructional Clinics
Comprehensive programs include golf fundamentals, full-swing, pitching, chipping, sand game, putting, and course management. Video analysis is also available upon request. The depth of instruction will be tailored to your guests' needs.
Technology
The PGA uses dedicated equipment to enhance the image of your event including a PGA interactive leaderboard system supplying scores live to the club-house.
Scoring
Official recorders check all scores individually as a matter of course - just like on Tour! In addition the PGA can offer hole by hole scoring, main leaderboard, tee box units and official starter's clocks.
Rules Officials
All PGA tournament staff are qualified in the Rules of Golf. All decisions relating to the playing of the event will be handled by the PGA to leave clients free to enjoy the day.
Additional Entertainment
The PGA can provide guest speakers. In addition the PGA is also the trustee of the Ryder Cup trophy - a unique photo opportunity for clients. (Subject to availability and a £500 donation to the PGA Benevolent Fund).
Corporate Services
- Client requirements/planning stage - entails meeting the client, establishing when and where, sourcing venues and liaising with venue to ensure requirements are met at the golf club
- Mail out draw and information for competitors
- Pre-event staging - course branding including banners, pin-flags, nearest the pin, longest drive markers, prizes
- Provision of an event-dedicated PGA Tournament Controller and Administrator to oversee the general operation of the event and to make all decisions on the rules of golf
- Staging of the event - includes official PGA announcer (announcing all competitors on the first tee)
