The Welsh Open PGA Championship is open to all PGA members and assistant professionals.
This year the competition carries a total purse of £30,000, with the winner walking away with a cheque for £4,350.
Liam Bond claimed the inaugural competition in 2006, when he stormed to victory around his home course, Marriott St Pierre, shooting a four-under-par 209 to win from a cluster of four others.
