Baker delivers at Berkhamsted

Mark Baker (Colchester) nailed a one-shot win at the Berkhamsted Pro-Am thanks to a three-under-par 68.
In what was comfortably his best performance of the season so far, Baker made four birdies in his round.
He started at the 10th hole and took time to get going but a pair of birdie threes either side of the turn took him to two-under.
He moved to three-under at his 13th before recording his sole dropped shot two holes later.
But Baker was not to be denied, instantly recovering the stroke at the next hole.
That final birdie proved decisive as he finished one clear of Ian Ellis (Great Yarmouth & Caister) and Tom Obergan (Berkhamsted).
There were 54 teams in the pro-am, which was clinched by the quartet led by James Webber (Three Rivers G&CC) who finished two clear on a total of 125.
