Chase at a canter in Hertfordshire

Chase Davis (Marriott Sprowston Manor Hotel) produced faultless golf in tricky conditions to claim The Hertfordshire Pro-Am.

The Norfolk ace defied high winds as he shot a bogey-free 65 to win by four shots from James Jankowski (IGC London) and Glen Portelli (Old Fold Manor).

Under a shotgun start, Davis opened up with a birdie at the short sixth hole and never looked back.

He reached three-under-par with two to play before closing out with back-to-back birdies.

Nobody else ever got near Davis’ winning tally of five-under-par as strong gusts made low scoring difficult.
