Continuity is key for Cranleigh

Charlie Tetlow has been named Karl Morgan's successor as PGA Head Professonal at Cranleigh Golf & Country Club.

Formerly on the Asian Tour and EuroPro circuit, Tetlow has coached at The Wynyard Club, Urban Golf Performance, No1 Junior Golf Academy and Hoebridge Golf Centre.

Tetlow’s keen to build on the impressive foundations: “I’m really excited to be joining Cranleigh. Karl has done a lot of great work with the academy and I’ll be looking to take that on. I’m keen to bring more juniors and new golfers and bring in a few of my own ideas and methods.”

Tetlow employs state-of-the-art technology and fresh methods to combine the benefits of fitness and biomechanics with golf. He said: “There are many ways to use knowledge and technology to get the best from your ability. I’m looking forward to sharing that with the Cranleigh members and to bringing some new golfers here.”

Morgan said: “Charlie’s the perfect fit so I’m delighted for him. I’ve really enjoyed Cranleigh, but it’s time for a new challenge.” Cranleigh’s general manager Nick Hughes said: “Charlie is a fantastic successor. We’re sure he will continue the great work Karl achieved, and put his own stamp on the role as he settles in and brings in his own ideas.”
