Crediton pair win at Dawlish Warren

Downes Crediton ‘s head professional Barry Austin and his assistant Devon Greenslade won the final Devon PGA meeting of the year at The Warren in Dawlish.

They shot seven-under-par 61 in the Christmas pairs event. Jessica Bradley (Saunton) made a hole in one on the fifth for the fifth ace of her career.

Dan Hendriksen (Torquay) took over from his brother as captain while Paul Hendriksen (Ivybridge) succeeds Neil Holman (Torbay) as chairman. Former secretary Christian Vine (Thorn Park Family Golf Centre) becomes vice-captain.
