Harris doubles up in Match Play

Glynn Harris (Mill Hill) emerged victorious from a record entry for the Middlesex Match Play Championship.

He beat Don Brennan in the final at Hendon to win the title for the second successive year.

Harris was two-under for his round when sealing a 5 and 4 triumph.

He said: “I am chuffed to retain the title and I’ll be back next year to try and win it again.

“I played nice and consistent golf in the final and didn’t make many mistakes.”
