Help inspire the next generation of golfers through the Faldo Futures series

Sir Nick Faldo is calling on golf clubs across the UK to help encourage and inspire more juniors and families into golf by being part of a new Faldo Futures series.

Formed as part of the Faldo Series, a charitable organisation set up by Faldo that has been running competitions for juniors for almost two decades, Faldo Futures is a national competition that provides a platform for thousands of children to play high level competitive golf.

The Faldo Futures is open to any child between 7-12-years old. Starting at qualifiers at local clubs with the winners playing in a Regional Final for the chance to be at The Faldo Futures Final at The Belfry in August.

Faldo Futures is searching for clubs to become Qualifying Venues and host an event between 22nd March – 14th April, 2024.

The cost of becoming a Qualifying Venue for the 2024 Faldo Futures series is £700. The first 100 clubs to sign up will receive a 50 per cent discount. Those clubs who cannot afford the sign-up fee can apply for funding through the Faldo Grant scheme.

Help increase junior participation and showcase the club as ‘family friendly’ by being part of a national initiative to get more young people and families into golf.
Provide new tuition opportunities for junior golfers at your club.
Become an official ‘Faldo Futures Venue’ for 2024 and gain access to its tournament platform and digital promotional activity.
Promote your profile and membership.
Promote the series at your club along with membership, tuition and camps/courses to young people and families in your area.

Host coaching sessions at your club for juniors and families.
Help encourage and inspire more juniors into golf.

“There is a need to have an exciting competition for all early adopters of the game, giving them the fun and opportunity to participate in competition,” said Faldo.

“I feel that The Faldo Futures should be available for all kids aged 7-12-years old to play as well as designing it as an opportunity for all golf clubs to promote junior and family golf at their clubs and have a legacy of more kids playing the sport.

“Open the door to new families, tuition opportunities and most importantly get girls and boys playing golf. Be a part of this ambitious competition and find the next Faldo Futures.”

Played as a nine-hole competition over shortened courses, the Faldo Series qualifiers are designed to attract as many children as possible to come and participate.

The top two players from each qualifier progress to a Regional Final, which take place at eight selected venues across the UK. The top three players from these events qualify for the Faldo Futures Final at The Belfry on 28th August, 2024.
