Scade strikes at South Herts

James Scade (Little Channels Golf Centre) bagged his second pro-am in a month after shooting seven-under-par at South Herts.
Scade fired 65 to claim a two-shot victory from Jason Levermore (Little Channels Golf Centre) and Glen Portelli (Old Fold Manor).
It was his second success in the past month after also winning at Swaffham.
Scade, who started at the tenth hole, made eight birdies in his round. He picked up strokes at three successive holes around the turn.
There was only one blemish on Scade’s card – a bogey at his 16th. But he signed off a superb round of golf with a birdie at the last.
It was a double on the day for Scade as he also captained the successful quartet in the pro-am. With over 50 teams in the field, Scade’s group were 18-under, one clear of the runners-up skippered by James Webber (Three Rivers G&CC).
