Score of the week is 66

A score of 66 was needed this week to win Pro-ams at both Newbury & Crookham and North Oxford.

On a dry ‘links style’ course on a sweltering day at Newbury, Guy Woodman, Dan Seymour and Greg Blainey all reached the number. All three players scored -3 to tie for first place.

It proved to be a similar story the following day when in almost identical conditions, Scott Marshall overcame the tricky conditions at North Oxford to reach the number and claim top spot.

A busy July for the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxon region sees more events taking place at West Berkshire, Badgemore Park, Oxfordshire and Henley where 66 could be a good number to reach.
