The Nokia Masters

The HotelPlanner.com PGA EuroPro Tour season resumes this week with the Nokia Masters at Mannings Heath Golf Club & Wine Estate in Sussex.

With six events left in the 2017 season which has produced eight different winners, Chris Lloyd sits atop of the pile in the Race To Amendoeria. However, a handful of golfers are close behind with the likes of Nick Marsh, Jonathan Caldwell, and Sam Robertshawe looking to leapfrog Chris with strong performances this week.

The Nokia Masters tees off on Wednesday, August 2. All players will play 36 holes before a cut to the leading 50 professionals and ties is made after Thursday’s second round. The winner after Friday’s final 18 will take home £10,000 from the £50,000 total prize fund.

The tournament marks the first time the EuroPro has visited Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate. The championship course has been influenced by Harry Colt, the great golf course architect responsible for beautiful layouts across the South of England. Colt’s input makes the Waterfall a challenging but exciting course which can test even the best of players.

Sam Connor won last week’s Matchroom Sport Championship at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa and sits eighth in the overall standings.

A two-hour highlights package from each event is broadcast on Sky Sports Golf, and on 98 networks around the world reaching 400 million homes. In addition, every event is available to watch on demand in high definition on YouTube.
