The PGA in Middlesex represents PGA Professionals and aspiring pros going through the PGA’s three-year training programme.

In addition it organises a number of tournament events, mainly during the winter, to give members some competitive golf.

Typically these comprise a number of Alliance meetings where a professional will play with two amateurs in a pro-am format while also playing their own individual competition. This format lends itself to sponsorship by local companies seeking a golf day and there are a number of different pro-am options.

Tournaments include the Par 3 Championship which consists of one professional with one amateur, the Middlesex Professionals’ Championship and Middlesex Open which any amateur players affiliated to a Middlesex County Golf Union Club and with a handicap of 7.4 or less can enter.

Our Order of Merit runs for all events, the winner becomes the PGA in Middlesex player with exemption from qualification for The PGA in England (East) Order of Merit event for the following year.

Any company wishing to sponsor a golf event within Middlesex should contact the secretary via the Contact Us page.
