England (East) Region

Luke Goddard (Hendon) continued his successful season with victory in the Hampstead Pro-Am.
Goddard has already scooped the East region’s Trainees’ title and performed well in a series of other tournaments.
And at the north London course he displayed some of his best form, recording a tally of 39 Stableford points to win by one from Murray White and Chase Davis (Eaton).
Goddard made good headway on the front nine in which he made three birdies.
But it was really at the 278-yard par-4 10th hole that he made his key move towards triumph. There he conjured up an eagle for four points – and that proved to be telling.
The Goddard-led quartet was also victorious in the team event, totting up 89 points – four clear at the summit.
