Three's company at Peterborough Milton

10 Aug 17

Lily Posh

The outcome of the Peterborough Milton Golf Club Pro-Am proved a case of three’s company as Paul Streeter, Simon Lilly and James Whatley tied for victory.

All three posted one-under par rounds of 70 to finish a shot clear of a sextet sharing fourth place – Danny Greenwood,  Paul Bradshaw, Ian Ellis,  Adam and Will Chamberlain and Edward Tranter.

Lilly, however, left it late to claim his share of first prize - £658.33.

The pro from Staverton Park Golf Club, was two-over at the turn, three shots adrift of Lincoln Golf Centre’s Streeter and Whatley, who represents Morley Hays Golf.

But while Streeter cancelled out a bogey at 10 with a birdie at 13 and Whatley negotiated the back nine in level par, Lilly recorded three birdies, including one at the par four 18th to draw level.
