Chris Evans ended a wait of almost three months for a tournament victory when, like London buses, two turned up in quick succession.
His victory in the Luffenham Heath Golf Club Pro-Am was followed eight days later by more success in the Kidderminster Golf Club Pro-Am.
The foundations for this latest victory, which earned the PGA pro from Aston Wood Golf Club £575, were laid on the front nine of the Worcestershire course.
Evans reached the turn in four-under-par and signed off with a birdie at the par-four 18th for a five-under-par round of 67.
That left him two shots clear of Cameron Hoggarth who also finished with a birdie and four ahead of Wollaton Park’s Lee Clarke, the only other player in the 20-strong field to break par.
Meanwhile, Evans boosted his winnings by £100 as a result of leading three amateurs to victory in the team event with an 18-under-par total of 126.
