Guy Woodman continued his great run of form by winning the BB&O Professionals Championship.
The Blue course at Frilford Heath was always going to provide a difficult challenge on a windy and showery day and Woodman did not experience the best of starts.
He started with an unspectacular two-over par 74 in the morning, but in the afternoon he turned up the heat by scoring a fantastic five-under par 67 to edge clear of the field and claim the top prize.
Tom Fleming used his consumable knowledge of the Frilford layout to finish as runner-up with scores of 73 and 70 to end on one-under par.
Paul Simpson and Adam Wootton finished tied third with even par scores over the two rounds but it was again Woodman who shone and will go into the European Tour School with the confidence of another victory under his belt.
Purves shares victories in both individual and team events in the Leeds Castle Pro-Am.
