The PGA in Hampshire is delighted to announce that HJS Solutions, the region’s leading professional services firm, is sponsoring its 2019 Order of Merit: The PGA in Hampshire HJS Solutions ‘Race to Rowlands’.
This move will help generate an exciting climax to The PGA in Hampshire’s schedule. The top 30 PGA Professionals in the county’s Order of Merit will all be playing in a new event, the HJS PGA in Hampshire Tour Championship. Played at Rowlands Castle Golf Club in October, this will decide the new PGA in Hampshire champion.
Gordon Johnston, Group CEO of HJS Solutions and member at Stoneham Golf Club, commented: “We’re delighted to have this opportunity to support The PGA in Hampshire and I can’t wait to see how it will add to the excitement of the race towards the championship decider. It’s also great to be part of an initiative that’s aimed at growing Hampshire’s professional golfing talent.”
Secretary for the PGA in Hampshire Roger Tuddenham added: “This is a really exciting new venture for The PGA in Hampshire, and I am delighted to launch this new project with the help of HJS Solutions.”
He continued: “Together we’re encouraging more PGA Professionals to try and secure one of the top 30 Order of Merit positions and a place in the lucrative new Tour Championship at Rowlands Castle Golf Club in October. I’ve no doubt it will form a fitting and well supported finale to our busy schedule.”
