Surrey’s rich heath and moorland is the setting for a number of fine courses that make this county a haven for the ardent golfer.
From Hindhead to Hoebridge, Silvermere to Sunningdale and Wentworth to Wisley, an array of golfing challenges can be found at every turn.
Wentworth’s West Course is perhaps its highest profile course courtesy of its centre staging when it welcomes Europe’s leading golfers every May for the annual BMW PGA Championship.
Another two fine courses can be found at Foxhills (the Bernard Hunt course is pictured above) which along with Longross, will host the Senior PGA Professional Championship for the first time in 2014.
