Dunmore Makes Breakthrough At Rosslare Pro Am

After a couple of second-place finishes this season, Adam Dunmore finally got over the finish line at The Kelly's Resort Rosslare Pro-Am.

The Bundoran professional posted a score of four under par 68 in blustery, wet conditions to claim victory ahead of David Higgins (Waterville Golf Links).

With a shotgun start in operation, Dunmore began his round at the 17th and collected five pars in a row before reeling off a four-birdie burst at the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh.

Adam dropped his only shot of the day at the par-four 11th but responded with a birdie at the 13th to finish on four under.

Damien McGrane (Carlow GC), Niall Kearney (Royal Dublin GC) and Ciaran Molloy (Ardee GC) finished tied for third at the event which raises funds for Wexford Hospice Homecare and St Patrick’s Special School, Enniscorthy.

Cahir Park's David Ryan and amateur partners Niall Fortune, Cormac Quigley and John Somers grabbed the team prize with 91 points.
