The PGA is seeking to recruit PGA Members with current coaching experience to undertake golf coaching at the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland (13th – 20th July 2025).
Please note that as the role involves working with children and young people, selected PGA Members will be required to be SafeGolf accredited (www.safegolf.org) and have a current criminal records check (DBS, PVG, Access NI or Garda Vetting) and Safeguarding and Protecting Children (SPC) certificate (Scotland: SPC or Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport) both issued within the last three years. These must be valid at the time of the Championship.
The selected PGA Members will be required to deliver professional golf sessions to a wide variety of participants and will be expected to adapt their delivery to suit every individual’s requirement ensuring a player-centered approach.
Sessions aim to inspire each golfer and motivate them to increase their participation, retention and progression in golf as well as showcase the value and expertise of the PGA Member.
The role is only available to fully qualified PGA Members actively working in the industry, PGA Trainees that have not yet qualified are not eligible to apply.
