Bradley beats star pupil

Renowned-coach Graham Bradley (above left) edged out one of his star pupils to win the PING Invitation Pro/Captain event at Gainsborough.

The Blankney pro beat Lincoln Golf Centre’s Paul Streeter by a stroke to claim the first prize of £1,000.

Streeter shared second with Sleaford’s Nigel Pearce after 38 Stableford points.

Sam Dawson (Boston) and Paul Bradshaw (Ping Golf Academy) tied fourth with Bradshaw taking the team prize with Ben McQuade, immediate past captain of Gainsborough.

The PGA in Lincolnshire enjoys a long established relationship with PING the event is seen as a 'thank you' to Lincolnshire account holders, as part of the company's celebration of 40 years of PING’s successful activities in the UK.

John Clarke, (above right) managing director of PING Europe, thanked the participants for their continuing support of the company.
