Lincolnshire's Paul Streeter maintained his impressive form by taking first place at the latest round of the PGA Midland winter series, played at Luffenham Heath.

Streeter (Lincoln Golf Centre) made it three straight wins in the competition when he carded a three-under-par 67 around the heathland Rutland course.

He birdied his opening hole, the 18th, and was three-under at the turn after further birdies at the fourth and eighth.

Streeter's blemish-free round handed him a one-shot victory from Craig Shave (Whetstone GC) and Cameron Clark (Moor Hall GC). Shave had a rollercoaster day with six birdies and four bogeys while Clark was another who did not drop a shot.

Yorkshire's Matt Daley (Hainsworth GC) and Lincolnshire's Dan Greenwood (Forest Pines GC) bagged eagles on the 490-yard sixth but it was a disappointing afternoon for Luffenham Heath's Thomas Sharpe who was not helped by a quadruple bogey on the second.

The next round of the winter series takes place at Worcestershire's Blackwell Golf Course on April 12.
