Seaford Golf Club, East Blatchington – Looking for a possible Trainee professional/PGA Assistant

Our Club

Seaford Golf Club is a traditional private members club with an onsite Dormy House. Seaford offers a challenging 18-hole course with excellent practice facilities located on the South Downs. We are looking for a Trainee/PGA Assistant to join our small but growing Professional shop team.

You will be required to do between 25-35 shop hours per week, this leaves ample time to play practice and coach. We are looking for a enthusiastic person to join our team and if you believe you are just that person please apply, by sending a CV to Head Professional Christopher.lovis@sky.com.

Below is an insight into some of the tasks/roles you will be expected to help deliver.

• If you are looking to become a trainee, your training will be supported by our current PGA professionals and your PGA mentor.
• Answers telephone and welcome guests assist with, golf tee times, custom fitting and lesson bookings.
• Ability to merchandise and help customers with product information allowing them to make an informed purchase.
• Ability to use the computer and Microsoft Office skills to deal with various requirements of the role such as stock counts and adding new stock to POS system.
• Responsible for evaluating their own performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve best possible results.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Working time

The role will be between 25-35 hours per week which will include weekends. We will also provide a competitive salary, and you will be enrolled in our company pension scheme, should you choose to.
