Training Applicant/ PGA Trainee
The Assistant Golf Shop Manager will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the golf shop, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining the shop’s inventory and appearance. This role requires a blend of excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisational capabilities, and a passion for golf.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote and assist with the sale of golf merchandise, including equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and suppliers.
- Ensure correct booking procedures are adhered to at all times
Sales and Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies to the Golf Shop Manager.
- Help develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Shop Maintenance:
- Ensure the golf shop is clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Arrange merchandise displays to maximise sales and maintain a fresh look.
- Monitor the condition of golf equipment and arrange for repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Handle golf repairs when needed
Administrative Duties:
- Assist with financial transactions processing payments, and reconciling sales.
