Paul Streeter was unable to surpass his coach and mentor Graham Bradley as the pair battled for victory in the Individual Professional leg of the PING Tournament.

The Ex-England international has long admired the Blankney pro (left) and was unable to overcome the man who mentored him through the early parts of his career. Bradley claimed a one-shot win and the £1000 winner’s cheque.

Streeter (Lincoln Golf Centre) finished the day tied in second with Nigel Pearce (Sleaford). The duo scored 38 Stableford points each.

Sam Dawson (Boston) and Paul Bradshaw (Ping Golf Academy) shared fourth place, although the latter would go on to win the team event alongside Ben McQuade.

The event was part of PING’s Festival of Golf. The golf club manufacturer, which is based in Gainsborough, is currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of its UK operations.
