PGA Cup heroes Dan Greenwood, (above), David Callaway and Nick Brennan will reunite in Portugal this week in a bid to land the ITC Championship for England.

The trio all starred in Great Britain & Ireland’s memorable draw with the United States in September but will face stiff competition from defending champions Scotland who include PGA Cup team-mate Graham Fox.

The Glasgow golfer will head the Scots team alongside Greg McBain and David Orr, who was a member of last year’s victorious team.

Another PGA Cup representative comes in the shape of vice captain Jon Bevan who lines up for Wales alongside Welsh PGA National Champion Lee Rooke and Stuart Runcie.

Ireland will comprise Order of Merit winner John Kelly, Cian McNamara and Brendan McGovern with a total of 26 countries competing in the 72-hole event on the Onyria Palmares-Alvor course on the Algarve.

The tournament complements the annual PGAs of Europe congress which features delegates from across the 39 member countries.

The event is once again supported by Glenmuir, the Associação Turismo do Algarve, and the Ryder Cup European Development Trust.
