02/09/2020

Heavy and persistent rain forced round two of the 110th Irish PGA Championship to be abandoned without a ball being struck at Roganstown Hotel and Country Club today (Wednesday).

The second and final round is scheduled to get underway on Thursday morning at 9 am with competitors playing in three-balls.

Leaders Colm Moriarty (Glasson Golf Club) and Shane Jenkinson (St Margaret's Golf & Country Club) will get their title bid underway at 1.20 pm.

After opening rounds of three under par (68) at the €32,000 event the duo are two shots clear of Simon Thornton (Tulfarris Golf Resort) and Sean Cannon (Athenry Golf Club).
