A magnificent eagle at the 18th gave Tom Rastall (above left) a memorable victory in the 2013 Karsten Bowl at Kenwick Park.

The Sleaford man ended the second day of the 36-hole event with a score of 139 to stay clear of second place Paul Streeter (Lincoln Golf Centre).

Despite confidently navigating the tricky course, which is nestled between the tourist coast and the Lincolnshire Wolds, Streeter could only manage a 141 over the two rounds to end the day two shots off the lead.

Joe Lippett (right) from Burghley Park took the Trainees Championship after a confident display saw him finish with a score of 142.

The top 16 finishers have now qualified for the Match Play championship, which is scheduled for later in the year.

Eric Sharp, centre, presented the trophies.
