Streeter sets new mark at Karsten Bowl

11/07/2014

Paul Streeter shot a new course record on his way to a dominating win at the Lincolnshire Professional Championship (Karsten 'Ping' Bowl) at Normanby Hall in Scunthorpe.

The Lincoln Golf Centre star fired six birdies and an eagle during a six-under-par 66 in his second round of the event which despite equalling the old previous best is regarded as a new mark due to tee changes at the course.

Streeter's two round total of 136 (eight under) gave him a comfortable five shot winning margin over Daniel Greenwood (Forest Pines) with Adam Keogh (Spalding) finishing third on 143 and at the same time winning the Lincs PGA Trainee Championship.
