Three and easy for Bunker

David Bunker of Stanmore shone at the Rayleigh Club where he achieved his third pre-qualifying victory inside four weeks.

Bunker fired a four-under-par 69 to ease through to the Rayleigh Club Championship, which will take place on September 24-25.

He finished two shots clear of his nearest rivals in topping the final pre-qualifer. Bunker also led the qualifying for the Weston Homes Plc/Royal Cromer Classic and the Weston Homes Plc/Bishop’s Stortford Classic. 

Charlie Luther (Hertfordshire G&CC), who has also played some excellent golf in the season’s pre-qualifiers, shot two-under alongside Ben Kerr (West Suffolk Golf Centre) and Josh Johnson (Bishop’s Stortford).
