Trio share top spot at Elm Park Pro-Am

Maura Morrin (Stepaside Golf Centre), Hazel Kavanagh (Impact Golf at Leopardstown) and Liam Grehan shared the limelight at the Elm Park Pro-Am.

The trio posted rounds of three-under-par 66 at the Dublin venue in blistering summer conditions.

Dara Lernihan (Bray) finished a shot back on two under par with Michael McGeady (Evolve Golf Coaching), Sergio Coyle and Jimmy Bolger (Kilkenny) tied for fifth on one-under-par.

Colm Moriarty (Glasson Lakehouse) guided amateur partners Brian Cannife, Paul Cannife and John Cannife to success in the team event with 92pts (bot).

The next event on the PGA in Ireland schedule is the Carlow Pro-Am on Aug 2 followed by the Irish PGA Championship at Carne Golf Links.
