PGA Assistant Golf Professional or PGA Trainee

Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Full time, 30 shop hours per week, plus coaching opportunities

Situated in the beautiful Welsh countryside, Vale of Llangollen is a member-focused golf club with approximately 500 playing members. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed PGA Assistant Professional or PGA Trainee to support our golf operations and to help us continue delivering an exceptional golfing experience for our members and visitors alike.You will be a key member of the professional team, supporting all aspects of the golf operation, from retail to competitions and member engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career in a friendly and supportive club environment.Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Currently enrolled in the PGA Training Programme or PGA Qualified
  • Professional, personable, and passionate about golf
  • Able to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about golf equipment and retail operations
  • Confident with golf management systems and technology
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • A strong team player who thrives in a customer-focused setting

As well as the basic salary we offer opportunities to supplement your income by delivering high-quality coaching (subject to having appropriate qualifications) to members, juniors, and visitors. And our Club Professional will support with your PGA training and continued professional development.
